This is my 99th post for this blog. Last entry of the year.
Anyway my only resolution for 2010 is to find a boyfriend and get married!
WAHAHAHA! You believe? I hope not, I'm just kidding.
Here's the real one:
-Study real hard and pass all the 4 modules. -Get a Class 3A license. -Don't add too many things to my To-Buy List. -Eat lesser. -Exercise more.
A good thing to mention:
I've successfully kicked away the habit of cabbing!
We're always hoping for a better year, but does that really work? Not for me at least.
So this year I shan't be greedy. I hope it'll remain the same then, rather than getting worst.
And the arrival of 2010 means study regime has to be kicked off. I'm so not looking forward can?!
Exams in early May for me, that means to say I'm only left with 4 months to prepare. Grr.
Alright, see you next year if I'm still around blogging!
Time to get ready, counting down with the bank officers at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel. I'll try my best to psycho them not to go club. If not I'll just stay in the room and sleep.
Met Alicia at Raffles City after my morning class. Failed to satisfy my craving for naan as Soup Spoon has stopped selling them. :(
I ordered the salad while she had the sandwich.
Thanks for the gifts! :)
27th December 2009
Had lunch at BPP's Swensen's with Pam. That pretty explains why I'm in specs.
Both the seafood lasagna and salad are good!
I'm the sweetest heart.
Thanks Sweetie! :)
28th December 2009
Weiling's first off day after like so long.
Brunch at Ya Kun. Half-boiled eggs, yum yum!
Went to try the brownie at Empire State that Cindy has recommended. Oh my, it's really delicious, especially when the chocolate is still warm. But the nachos, tsk, so-so only lor.
By the way, the new SkinFood's polishes (the Pedicure Sparkle range) are nice.
The photos do no justice to the nice sparkling pink. Go try!
Thanks PTGF, return you next time. Remember to bring the sparkling purple! Heh.
I didn't celebrate Christmas this year, and I spent almost the whole day YouTube-ing. Tsk! My plan to study CF failed again, the module which I hate and fear most.
Anyway, thanks Ray for the gift:
I reckon he got my address from SIBS. Is my staff status still there?
Can't wait to see the usual peeps on the last day of 2009. Thanks for sponsoring me the stay at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel. :)
Okay, time to hit the sack. I still have PBF class tomorrow morning.
A journey is best measured in friends, rather than miles.
Yup, another 'chop chop'.
The passport cover on the left is a X'mas gift from Fengling, which was given to me last Saturday and I forgot to blog about it.
We really have 默契 lor!
I took out my passport while she pulled out the Anna Sui's blotter (her X'mas gift from me), then we turned to each other and said,
"I've started using it!"
ALL at the SAME time!
Anyway she asked her air steward friend, Mike, along.
Light brunch at Kim Gary. Had my favourite thick toast.
Cheap KTV next, at Neway.
3 hours of singing + 2 snacks + 3 sets of lunch + 3 drinks = RM52.90 for 3
We're entitled to their student price. :)
The snack is not those normal nuts we usually get, there are some choices and we chose fries and nuggets. Lunch set not too bad as well, better than Kbox definitely.
The only downside is probably the sound system. But still, acceptable la.
I think they look compatible. What do you think?
Finally tried this green tea ice cream. Nice!
Auntie Anne's pretzel and stix, and a slice of Chocolate Strawberry cake from Secret Recipe for my dinner. Same price as those over here, just different in currency.
Bought some rubbish at Etude House again. Can't resist the 40% off for those tools.
Gonna get more sleeping shorts from FOS next time. Ain't the purple heart prints cute? Not to forget its satin material, so comfy.
P/S: Didn't manage to catch Sherlock Holmes cause there was only 1 slot at 11pm yesterday. Boo!
Human for the sake of getting a living forget to live.
Shall not bother with that thingy anymore. Everybody seems to be giving up.
Anyway, I've finally tried The Marmalade Pantry. :)
Fengling and I both had the Crabmeat Linguini. It's nice. And we shared the desserts. Nutella Cupcake is sweet, I love it. But I prefer the Sticky Date & Toffee Pudding, heavenly, must try! 4 items for about 70 bucks. Heh.
I wanna try their Crab Caesar Salad, and have their Sticky Date & Toffee Pudding again next time. I'll go after 6pm cause there's a ladies night promotion, 20% off the total bill.
As usual, cam-whored in the ladies.
Bumped into Jeremy (my new friend) and helped him do a short survey on Ion. He gave us 2 vouchers in return.
Fengling had the Strawberry Cocktail while I had the Caramel Franilla, FREE!
In the evening, she went to meet her friend while I headed down to Central to meet the girls. Yes, we don't treat Sean as a guy.
2 hours at Mind Cafe. Played 2 games and both show that I have the dirtiest mind, haha.
The first photo with Joyce and Sean, those who watched Minami Shineyo will then know what is that pose for. I was sandwiched between the 2 crazy Tae Kyung's fans.
And Linshee spelled 'pea' as 'pie', Pam mistook 'tweezer' as 'twister', super funny la.
An enjoyable night. But sorry that I left early.
You know where to find the rest of the photos right? Quite a number of candid shots.
As what the title had said, I exercised with Weiling earlier on, at the park nearby.
Only managed to jog (non-stop) for half an hour before the sudden downpour. And coincidentally, I was listening to Rainie's 雨爱, FYI, my nano is on shuffle.
Truth and tears clear the way to a deep and lasting friendship.
A belated birthday celebration for Marcus at Oscar's (Conrad). Woonlan couldn't make it cause he has to do guard duty, darn suay la.
As UOB card promotion is 1 dines free with every 3 paying adults, we asked Weiling along.
I ate quite little, so unlike me right? Something's wrong with my stomach again.
Even Weiling is surprised. The other time she told me that I should be severely overweight lor. I'm actually considered slim given of the amount of food I eat. You can never imagine how crazy my appetite can get.
I'm so glad that he loves the 2 gifts.
And thanks to Yeowkwang, Marcus got a free teddy bear from the staff. Haha! Reason being there isn't any bread pudding today (available on random days only), then the birthday boy is sad.
P/S: Actually I'm more sad than him. I WANT bread pudding!
Treat others the way you want others to treat you.
Busy bee! Did most of the stuffs alone except #2 and #7 of course. I can shop alone but not eat alone.
#1. Went to apply for the Citi Clear Card. Already asked them to expedite it, hope I can receive before end of this month.
#2. Met my movie supplier for lunch. 3 bucks lor mee in exchange for so many movies, worth it right? Heh.
#3. 313@Somerset, another nice shopping mall, second on my list. First is still Ion. :)
#4. Sale:
Bought 3 eyeshadows and the casing for only $29, usual price $79 lor. And the Shiseido's gel eyeliner is a steal! 12 bucks! I won't spend $45 on it anymore.
But still, I've spent $41 unnecessarily. No wonder Juntong says it's so easy to earn a woman's money.
#5. Ion-ed, for Royce. :)
#6. Marcus' presents settled! So happy! Hope he'll like them, cause I love them.
#7. Dinner with Juntong. Initially I thought it'll be awkward as it's been eons since we last went out, but it turns out to be alright, and we ended up chatting for near 3 hours.
Okay, dead beat, time to shower and sleep. Goodnight!
I really need a better time management! I've so many things to do, yet they are like piling up again. I should let my mind to take the control instead of my heart. Yishi, prioritise please!
Anyway, attended Wanxuan's party with Jere last Saturday. Surprisingly, time passed pretty fast as I joined the rest for games like Indian Poker, 007 Bang and Frog.
I supposed that will be the last 21st party for 2009, not counting the little celebration for Marcus this coming Saturday at Conrad's Oscar's. Can't wait! But I'm more looking forward to dine at The Line (Shangri-La) next January. Let's get poorer and grow fatter together! Heh.
On a side note, the stadium at Woodlands is closed till next February. Gotta find another track. Boo.
P/S: Sometimes I really can't stand copycat. It can be really irritating you know?!
I dislike the second spirit's laughter and the last spirit kinda freaked me out, but still, I love the happy ending.
★★★☆☆
Yup, I caught this film with Fengling at JB's City Square yesterday. Too bad we don't have the Citi Clear Card, if not it'll be one-for-one. Never mind, RM6 per ticket is still cheap! I'm gonna apply for the card soon, before our next JB trip later this month. We wanna catch Sherlock Holmes then and get their popcorn combo for only RM2. Heh.
Lunch at Kim Gary. Price is definitely cheaper than Singapore's.
And Sushi King for dinner. Food was mediocre, except our favourite dessert. Guess we won't have Japanese food at Malaysia again.
Bought some rubbish at Etude House, most items are going at 40-50% off. Remember my Etude's eye cream? With the same price I bought over here, I can actually get 2-3 tubes over there. Argh!
I also bought 2012 back. Shall watch it with my family this Sunday or anytime when my dad's home early. He loves this type of films. Wanted to get some other movies as well, but not sure D (my movie supplier) has them or not.
Gonna try Neway during our next trip too. KTV KTV KTV~
P/S: This is actually my first trip to JB. Not counting those JB/Malacca/Genting trips with my family eons ago. Ever since Mummy had to undergo dialysis treatment back in 2000, I haven't been stepping outta Singapore till the Korea study trip 2 years ago.
1001 nights had just passed. I'm still missing you.
Did my nails on Sunday night while waiting for Hai Pai Tian Xin to be uploaded:
I can't draw straight line now, grr.
Speaking of the drama, friends who are following me on Twitter or FB should know by now that I'm totally addicted to it. Super nice la! Can't wait for their OST to be out too! So far there are 3 songs by Show, 3 songs by Rainie, and a duet. All the 7 songs are nice! Anyone happens to have any of the songs? I want the full version de. TIA! :)
Anyway it's the first day of the last month of 2009. Happy December people!
