Though the ending is kinda expected, the plot is good! I'm right, it started with a kiss!
We were laughing at almost every scenes, and I guess our laughters were the loudest in the theatre.
Ryan Reynolds is cute! Love his expressions, especially when he's surprised. And we love the part where Sandra Bullock danced (the thanksgiving part).
Gammy is cute too!
★★★★★ This movie definitely worth all the 5 stars on my chart!
Really miss my Yiting Jiejie a lot! :)
Dead beat!
Couldn't sleep last night, so I did my homeworks and watched Cold Blood Warm Heart, classic!
Guess what's the aftermath?!
I almost died in lecture, couldn't focus at all! While I wanted to note down some points this morning, supposed to be "company" but I wrote "insects" instead. And Gallen Lo actually appeared in my head several times. I kept dozing off too. Bad bad bad! Shall not attempt to skip my beauty sleep anymore.
On a side note, the test that falls on 12th September has been brought forward to next Saturday. Damn it, I just feel like banging my head against the wall. Cancelled the trip for nothing, hmmpf!
First, to Kinokuniya to reserve a copy of Jill Stuart Beauty 5th Anniversary. It was just released in Japan last Saturday, so roughly some time this week it will arrive in Singapore. Hopefully BY next Monday, so that I can have the 20% discount, heh! I totally can't wait for the free cosmetic pouch that comes with it.
Second, to Wasabi Tei for lunch! Yes yes, finally!
Reached at 1145am, and waited for 15 minutes for them to open.
Actually this extra charge on second request may not be a bad thing, I think the boss doesn't want the people outside to wait for too long. The first round already takes near an hour, imagine if you order, then eat again. Another half an hour? Or an hour? I'm probably the first to say that the boss is quite nice afterall.
The appetiser, I assume it's the jellyfish thingy. Not bad leh!
The 5 bucks chawanmushi! I think I anticipate for it too much, it doesn't seem as good as what the rest had been telling me. Still nice though.
Salmon sashimi, our favourite! Super fresh and thick! 9 bucks if I remember correctly.
Codfish in claypot, 18 bucks. Nice nice nice! Slurps!
I will definitely patronise again, though their service sucks! I'm fine with it since there isn't service charge. $41 for 2 pax, the food totally worth the price.
Third, had my birthday cake ordered and the "special thingy"! I'll reveal what's that thingy next Saturday! Stay tuned!
P/S: I almost wanted to change my birthday dinner from next Saturday to the day before, cause of that "special thingy". It's really silly if I did that. Anyway, that one costs more than the cake lor, hope my dad doesn't kill me when he sees the receipt later in the night. :P
But I think he won't pay me, so those will become bad debt! HAHA!
I've a really childish dad! Just received a ruffles top which I bought online, guess what my dad did? He swapped the item inside with his smelly socks!
He was hiding at a side peeping at how excited I was while tearing open the envelope, then he laughed till he was rolling on the floor when he saw my reaction, like a small boy la.
But that made me laugh too. He can be so happy making fun of me. So, why not?
No, I didn't touch his dirty socks at all, am smart enough! ;)
Anyway Vienna date was cancelled, but I still met Alicia for high tea. She's back from Perth for a few days.
Dunkin' Donuts first, with her 2 sisters and 2 childhood friends.
Then Bakerzin for their warm chocolate cake. No kick leh. But the 50% off makes it pretty worth. Thanks for the treat! :)
My first birthday gift, from Australia! Thank you very much PTGF!
She's really funny la.
Alicia: "I brought your birthday gift! But I haven't wrap yet. You want me to wrap first? Or I pass you the wrapper?" Me: "Just pass me the gift, don't need to wrap. And I don't wanna bring home the wrapper!"
Next one:
Alicia: "I got your birthday card too! But I haven't write anything yet!"
And so, she asked me for my address.
Okay, PTGF! I help you do mani+pedi FOC, but T&C apply. I wanna go your house to learn how to make macarons, bake cupcakes, etc. Deal?
Thanks for the Roc Candy too! Loves!
I have 4 kinda big zits on my left cheek. :(
I miss that pair of hands, it's the warmest I've ever held. I also miss that pair of hands, I feel so safe whenever I'm holding them.
Finally hit the gym this morning. Didn't manage to get rid of those extra fats, I think I put on more instead, cause I had Happy Meal after. Got the 2008 Hello Kitty toy for Yixuan, it's her year.
Yesterday was a long day for her, but she was exceptionally happy.
That she even woke me up early in the morning.
Zhou's Kitchen for their high tea buffet. I think kinda normal, would prefer Dragon Gate's anytime.
But thanks to UOB, 1 dines for free with every 3 (or 4) paying adults. I love UOB card privileges!
Couple wear spotted? Sweet yeah?
Her birthday cake pretty right? Freaking expensive! The Barbie doll is real, no wonder dad's willing to pay 100 bucks for it. Not I remembered wrongly, it's dad who lied to us.
Anyway he said he will pay for my cake, and I still worried mine is too expensive. But compared to Yixuan's, I think should be alright. Heh.
The following conversation in Mandarin:
Sis: "I wanna eat abalone!" Dad: "Got luohan at home, go back then hug it lor!"
It's okay if you don't get the joke. But I had a good laugh.
Dad just asked me to send him a template of the resignation letter. The expression on his face makes my heart wrenched.
I don't know what's happening at his company, perhaps too much stress. But I'm not going to ask, he will say when he feels like. He seems very sad though.
I suddenly feel ashamed, of myself. He is the family's sole breadwinner, he doesn't spend much on food, but, on the other hand, I've been spending way too much. I'm a sucker for good food you see, I can't even remember when is the last time I had my meal at coffeeshop.
Oh well, I'll try my best to control my spendings now. Although dad says he'll pay for my school fees next year, if I can, I'd rather pay for myself.
And I bet dad is even more troubled at home, by my sis. They are still on cold war, for many days already. Sis at fault actually, but she's too stubborn to admit it. I've tried my best to persuade her to apologise, but they were all failed attempts. I don't know what to do now. Everybody can see that dad dote on my sis the most, he's really biased, but seeing the way she treats him, I'm really speechless.
Still, I'll tolerate my sis' nonsense, she's my family afterall. Seriously, she can be unreasonable at times, and I used to quarrel with her on that. However, when I know that she's affected by Mummy, I gave in. Somehow I think I owe her. And if I continue to argue with her, it will only upset Mummy.
父母最怕的,不是看见子女做错事,而是子女吵架,不和睦,那是最难过的。
Quoted from Moonlight Resonance.
And I guess the only thing I can do now is not to quarrel with my sis, and give in to her whenever I can, who ask me being the eldest.
I'm feeling better after typing all out, but now I'm contemplating to publish this post.
"Isabella Swan?" He looked up at me through his impossibly long lashes, his golden eyes soft but, somehow, still scorching. "I promise to love you forever - every single day of forever. Will you marry me?"
-extracted from the 3rd book in the Twilight saga: Eclipse, P460, Chapter 20: Compromise
Aww, short and sweet. My heart melts totally.
Done with that novel, now I'm waiting for Breaking Dawn, though I already know what's going on. Wikipedia is a good tool you know?!
Anyway I tried working the full shift (11am-2pm; 5pm-11pm) yesterday, time passed pretty fast, surprisingly, except for the last 1 hour, I kept counting down.
Yeowkwang is nice enough to put me at Causeway Point, that's also my only condition for working the whole day. I can rush home during the break to charge my iPod and have my meal, rest for 2 hours, or even take a nap, cause the journey takes about 15 minutes only.
Well, I'm quite a fussy employee actually, erm, part-timer to be exact.
But I guess I'll just stick to the short 3 hours for the time being, till I'm really in need of moolah.
